Jobs - Store Officer

Full-time

Location: Kaduna, Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara States

Job Summary

Responsible for the day to day activity of receipt and issue of materials out of stock and the update of relevant records.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

 ► Day to day issue and receipt of materials into stores in line with company policy and procedure

 ► Update record of stock and produce period report of stores activity for management information

 ► Ensure the integrity of stores at all times

 ► To ensure delivery of materials by suppliers accurately and meets specified standard in the origination instruction

 ► To carry our periodic inventory in conjunction with the store accounts officer and cooperate in all related reconciliation effort

 ► To participate in periodic stock taking exercises

 ► To promptly and regularly deliver all stock issue and receipt documents to the appropriate stores accounts officer

Competency and Skill Requirements

 ► Ability to identify and distinguish between the different types of stores material

 ► Be adaptable and able to meet deadlines on assignments, juggle multiple demands and to work with all types of individuals.

 ► Strong skills in planning, problem solving, and timely problem escalation.

 ► Excellent written and oral communication skills

 ► Excellent time management and organizational skills

Experience and Minimum Requirements

 ► A Bachelor’s degree or HND preferably in thenumerate or business courses.  Electrical Engineering courses will be an added advantage

 ► Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

 ► Master’s degree /or certification is an added advantage.

 ► 2 - 6 years cognate experience
