The protesters asked the chief of the electoral commission, Attahiru Jega to redeploy the commissioner in the interest of democracy, just as he preserved that the people of Rivers state would fight any effort to repeat the massive fraud that was scored during last Saturday’s presidential poll.
Rotimi Amaechi, Rivers state governor has recently said that he believes that presidential poll held in the state was irreparably compromised, and the results must be cancelled.
