President Muhammad Buhari has commissioned Abuja-Kaduna railway with a promise to strictly implement the 25-year strategic vision for Nigerian railways.
According the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) the president made the pledge after a ceremonial train ride from Idu to Kubwa Service Station in Abuja.
Meanwhile, the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has taken to their twitter handle to congratulate Buhari on the commissioning of the Abuja-Kaduna railway.
The party also extended congratulations to former President Goodluck Jonathan for the conceptualization of the project. They also commended former Finance minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala for the “work put into the structure & funding of the project”.
