Three ex-militant leaders in the riverine communities of Edo State have been arrested by the state command of the Nigeria Police Force.
They were arrested with two AK47 assault riffles at an undisclosed location near Benin, the state capital.
Source close to the command said the ex-militants are presently in the custody of operatives of the State Criminal Investigative Department (SCID) of the command headquarters.
It was further learnt that arrangements are in top gear to arraign the suspects at the Magistrate Court in Benin on Wednesday this week.
