JAMB Finally Releases Results
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the release of 1,792,719 results of candidates who sat for the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Saturday.
The JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, announcing the release of the results in Abuja on Saturday directed the candidates to send ‘RESULT’ to the short code, 55019, on their mobile phones.
Registrar of the examination body, Professor Is-haq Oloyede, announced the release of the results on Saturday morning in Abuja.
The JAMB boss said that due to various infractions the board withheld the results of 34,120 candidates for various infractions.
The registrar also said that 15,145 of the aforementioned results were withheld for further clarification.
“For 2019 results 1,886,508 candidates registered including those in foreign centres,” he announced.
“Out of this number which excludes Direct Entry, 59,667 were absent and a total of 1,826,839 sat for the UTME.
“Today, we release 1,792,719 results. Some 34,120 results withheld including the results of 15,145 candidates identified by identical twins for further clarification.”
This news medium had reported on Friday that the registrar said JAMB would release the results on Saturday.

Click on ‘Check My Results’ and the portal will load your result if it’s ready.
Note that UTME results are released in batches. If the portal returns with ‘You Do Not Have Any Result Yet’, that implies your result is not yet ready. So you have to check back later.
