The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a gang of suspected armed robbers for allegedly robbing and snatching cars in different areas of the state.

Nigerians Shun Other Banks' ATMs Over N65 charge

Customers on Monday dumped the use of other banks’ Automated Teller Machines in a bid to avoid paying the newly introduced N65 ATM fee, which became effective that day.

The Central Bank of Nigeria, in collaboration with the Bankers’ Committee, had on August 13, 2014 announced the introduction of the N65 service fee on cash withdrawals from other banks’ ATMs.

'Voters without permanent cards won't vote'

►The Independent National Electoral Commission on Monday in Abuja said that voters who did not collect their Permanent Voter Cards by December 2014, “would be disenfranchised in the 2015 general elections.”

►The commission also called on Nigerians not to lose hope in its ability to deliver free, fair and credible elections in 2015.
