►THE All Progressive Congress, APC, in Ondo State and the state government, yesterday, disagreed on the planned employment of 2,000 into the state teaching service six years into the present administration.

►Governor Olusegun Mimiko had, last week, directed the immediate massive recruitment of 2,000 teachers into the state’s teaching service by the Teaching Service Commission.

Telecom operator docked for N40m theft

A telecom operator, Samson Ukpolo, was yesterday arraigned before an Ebute-Metta chief magistrate’s court for allegedly stealing N40 million.

The defendant, who resides at Plot 3685, Lakeview Estate, 2nd Rainbow, Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos, is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing.
