How my successors destroyed power sector –Obasanjo

Former President,  Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has attributed the problems ravaging the power sector in the country to his successors, saying, they abandoned the sector.

Obasanjo said he had tried to ensure stable power supply since 1979 when he was Military Head of State and when he returned as civilian President in 1999 but, his successors abandoned the sector thereby making it moribund.

Kogi Jail Break: Gunmen Attack Prison, Free 145 Inmates

►Terrorists, last Sunday night, attacked the Koton-Karfe Minimum Prison in Kogi State setting free all 145 inmates in the four cells.

►The terrorists, suspected to be members of Boko Haram sect, were said to have arrived the prison around 9p.m., in four Hilux vehicles, raided the prison for more than two hours unchallenged, freed the inmates and vandalized the record office.

FG orders military to flush out Boko Haram, as suicide bombers kill 23 in Yobe
