APC planned to hack into INEC database - DSS
The Department of State Services, DSS, has accused the All Progressives Congress, APC, of an elaborate plot to hack into the voters registration data base of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. It alleged that the purpose was to clone voters and party membership cards to match those in the data base.

President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday condemned some politicians parading themselves as statesmen and senior citizens whereas, they are by their utterances, “ordinary politicians and motor park touts.”

President Goodluck Jonathan has directed the Independent National Electoral Commission Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega, to ensure that all registered Nigerians got their Permanent Voter Cards before next month’s general elections.
Jonathan said after swearing-in the INEC national commissioner representing Oyo State, Prof. Akinola Salau, in Abuja on Wednesday that the nation could not afford to organise a general election where some people would be disenfranchised.
He said, “So the chairman of INEC, all Nigerians must get voter cards; we cannot conduct an election where some people will not have the rights to vote on election days.
