Danjuma wants Dokubo-Asari, Tompolo, others arrested
Former Defence Minister, General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma (Ret), has called for the arrest of Asari Dokubo, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, General Boyloaf and others over recent war threats by the ex-Niger Delta militants.
General Danjuma, who spoke to reporters at the permanent site of multi-billion naira North-West University, Kano, said the drumbeats of war by the Niger Delta militants was highly irresponsible.

THE Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), yesterday, enjoined those who fear that non -availability of Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) will hurt next month’s general elections to have a rethink. Reason: All the cards have been printed and are ready for collection.
►The Pan-Yoruba socio-political organization, Afenifere, on Wednesday after a four-hour meeting in Akure, country home of its chairman, Chief Reuben Fasoranti, lamented that more than 15 million voters had not collected their cards and 14 million voters cards were yet to arrive the country.

Soludo an embittered loser in search of relevance, says FG
The Federal Government, yesterday, accused the former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, of poor managerial ability, saying he was largely responsible for the N5.67 trillion contingent liabilities of distressed banks, bought up by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON, to save the banking industry in 2008.
