A report on Guardian newspaper claims that the incoming administration of Muhammadu Buhari, will likely stick to just 19 ministers in its cabinet.

The report also stated  that most of the ministers that will be appointed will be ministers of state in contrast to what is obtainable in the current administration of President Goodluck Jonathan.

Dismissed Soldier Reveals Shocking Maltreatment In Nigerian Army

A Nigerian soldier has revealed the maltreatment he’s got after being sacked by the Nigerian army.

Agunloye Sunday said the accusations against him and 199 others were “untrue, false and malicious” and that the arms given for them were outdated.

He said: “The bombs given to us were made since 1964 they were expired, so we could not use them.”

UEFA Europa League Final: Sevilla Win Europa League

Sevilla has won the 2015 UEFA Europa League Final. The competition is the 44th season of Europe’s secondary club football tournament organised by UEFA and the sixth season since it was renamed from the UEFA Cup to the UEFA Europa League.
The match was played at the Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw, Poland between Ukrainian side Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and the 2014 winners, Spanish side Sevilla.

Nebo Tasks Buhari On Power Sector

Despite fuel crisis, that crippling Nigeria for more than a month, the minister of power, Prof. Chinedu Nebo, has said that the outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan fulfilled power promises.

He insisted that the situation could get better in the near future if the new administration would tackle the issues of pipeline vandalism and adopt renewable energy to generate more power.

During the 2011 presidential campaigns, Jonathan made a flock of promises, comprising provision of steady power supply, increasing the hope of Nigerians, who have for years been groping in darkness.
