JAMB Takes New Decision On Candidates With Low Cut-Off Marks

Fresh reports say the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has concluded to redistribute candidates with  lower cut-off marks than what their first choice institutions required.

The examination body has now urged candidates and parents to check the board’s website from Friday, for their names and institutions.

SO SAD: INEC Commissioner Dies At 67

Professor Muritala Salau, a national commissioner with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), is dead, The Punch reports.

Salau gave up the ghost at the Turkish Hospital, Abuja where he had been admitted for an ailment.

Aged 67, the late Salau died on Saturday, July 25, and had since been buried at the Muslim cemetery, Ibadan in line with Muslim rites.
