Chris Olakpe has been appointed the new chief executive officer of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).

He was appointed on Monday, November 2, by the Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, to replace Young Arabamen.

According to Ambode, Olakpe’s appointment was in response to the consistent complaints by the public on the situation of traffic on the streets of Lagos.
