Vacancy - Plant Manager
Job Description of Duties:
Overview the technical and managerial aspects of the Plant Department, including those of the quarries, stores, asphalt plants and batching plants.
Coordinate the functions, procurement and mobilization/demobilization of Plant facilities and personnel for various projects.
Provide specialized expertise and advice to the areas of operations on all related Plant aspects.
Coordinate with the Estimating Department for economic plant usage and selection for various types of plant application.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 15 years experience in repair, maintenance and management of large road construction fleet of equipment.
At least 5 years experience in similar position with proven record.

Vacancy - Project Engineer (Roads or Bridges works)
Job Description of Duties:
Oversee the full operation of a large workshop including, maintenance, repair, overhauling, trouble shooting and records keeping of Caterpillar, Volvo and general earthmoving equipment.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the workshop personnel and tasks.
Reports to the Plant Manager and follow-up orders of spare parts and ensures maximum utilization of plant machinery.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
7 -10 years experience in same specialization within the construction industry.

Job Description of Duties:
Preparation and development of Asphalt/Concrete Mix Designs.
Inspection and testing of earthworks according to specification and field density testing (tests are carried according to British Standards).
Supervising material for concrete and asphalt mixing at batching plant according to specification and standards; and laboratory sample testing.
Controlling asphalt pavement (temperature and compaction).
Preparation of Quality Assurance Reports to the Client.

Vacancy - Quarry Supervisor
Job Description of Duties:
In charge of Quarry operations (at one of Setraco quarries), to ensure most timely and cost effective production of aggregates and efficient utilization of all crusher and support equipments.
-To plan, lead, organize and control the quarry resources to meet the needs of both the Company’s projects and external clients (including sales/customer services).
-Display a hands-on approach to Drill and Blast design and implementation.
-Assist with the implementation of equipment maintenance programs.
-Establish high standards of work performance and optimum product quality.
-Promote quality control, safety programs and regulatory compliance.
Job Requirements:
A background of quarry industry or surface mining experience.
Minimum 3 years experience in field.

Job Description of Duties:
Is able to build a 3D ground model from raw survey data .
Is able to design from a ground model landfills, irrigation projects, industrial terminals.
Conversant with the geometric design of Highways and streets.
Is able to design horizontal & vertical alignments and fully conversant with AASHTO design parameters and transition curves design speed & superlevations.
Capable to integrate a full feature carriageway, highway, dual carriageway with service roads on separated grades.
Is able to design intersections, roundabout, grade separated intersections with slip roads and flight over's Freeways.
Able to generate full featurised cross sections; with earthwork quantities; survey setting out data and to compile mass haul diagrams.
Drainage & Sewerage design:
-Is able to do a rainfall analysis and compile rainfall intensities and return periods.
-Is able to design a drainage network within the road carriageways or in open land.
-Is able to load the drainage network and to design the drainage runs, size the pipes.
