Position Description
Transaction Management Unit (“TMU”) is responsible for providing market risk (associated with structured debt products), operational risk (associated with booking and management of debt products) and credit monitoring support to business units within Corporate & Investment Banking Group (“CIB”) with regards to the management of the Group’s Risk Asset Portfolio.
The job holder will assist in providing support for the
(a) execution and closing of transactions undertaken within CIB,
(b) Portfolio Management of all Assigned transactions,
(c) work in co-ordination with other relevant departments to minimize risk associated with the Bank’s risk assets, and
(e) maintain good relationship with internal and external clients as well as service providers (Marketers, Legal, Risk and Finance).
Required Skills and Qualifications
QUALIFICATION:
QUALIFICATION:
• First Degree or Equivalent (preferably in law, Accountancy or Finance or related/Numerate disciplines)
• Holders of a law degree should be comfortable with figures
• CA / CIMA / MBA advantageous.
• The job holder will be expected to understand the general dynamics of the local and international financial markets;
• English language proficiency is a must for undertaking this role.
