Suspected members of the terrorist group, Boko Haram, have attacked some towns and villages in Borno State, North East Nigeria, killing at least 19 persons.

The gunmen were said to have gone from one village to another in the remote part of the state with scant security presence.
One of the villages attacked was Kala-Balge, located about 180 kilometers from the state capital, Maiduguri, where the gunmen reportedly shot people and burnt houses, leaving many people wounded.
