WTS Energy is recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Head Accounting & Reporting

Job description Head Accounting & Reporting

►Oversee receivables, supplier advances and more importantly liaise with the Contracts & Procurement team on recoverability

►Responsible for controls on cash recording including bank reconciliations, petty cash and company credit cards

►Responsible for the prepayment ledger controls and reconciliations and reporting on arrears

►Review balance sheet reconciliation statements

►Review monthly/quarterly close reporting packs

►Assist the Financial Controller with preparation of annual financial statements and liaison with internal and external auditors

►Review monthly management reports (actual and forecast figures, analyses of variances, providing meaningful variance analysis and commentary for Nigerian budget holders)

Requirements Head Accounting & Reporting

►5-7years of relevant accounting experience in oil and gas sector with a Finance Degree or Honours

►Strong personality and strong communication skills

►Staff management skills

►Experience of complex accounting procedures

►Experience of meeting demanding monthly reporting timetables and preparing monthly management information.

►Experience of preparing annual plans and budgets.

►Track record of improving processes and controls

►Confident and a self-starter, and have good attention to detail.

►Excellent analytical and organisational skills

►Hands on management approach and ability to develop team members

►Reports to : Financial Controller Supervises

►Internally Relates with Finance and all other Business Units

►Externally Relates with External Auditors

►Yearly Renewable Contract
