Doctor JP Amadi jnr. of ‘Muslims Against Terror’ tweeted today that soldiers of the Nigerian army stormed all mosques in Aba state arresting all northern extract Imams.
The raids occurred at about 2am Sunday night and according to the details, most of the Imams were released Monday evening. The reason for their arrest is not yet known, however this follows increased apprehension towards northerners and northern appearing dwellers in Nigeria’s South-south and eastern states.
