THE Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has advised the Federal Government to adopt starvation tactics in the fight against the Boko Haram by blocking all the routes leading to the forests in Adamawa, Yobe and Borno states where the sects operate from.

Council in Abuja, yesterday, noted that if the number of troops deployed to monitor elections in Ekiti and Osun states was sent to the entry and exit of the forests, the terrorists would be forced to surrender.
Comrade Omar noted that civil servants had become the highest casualty in the act of terrorism, stressing that with a change of tactics, the insurgents would be forced to surrender.
He said: “The issue of insecurity is a very serious one and we really want to call on government to intensify efforts.
