An opportunity exists for a psychologist to provideconsulting psychological services, predominantly assessments to business units in Nigeria and Ghana.
►This role involves providing guidance and psychological assessments for current employees for development purposes as well as assessments for recruitment purposes. This must be done with due cognizance of the short, medium and long-term image and operational objectives of the organization.
►The key aim of using assessments is to leverage information generated from the assessments together with other data to facilitate strategic people decisions and planning. Coaching of managers is therefore important so that they are empowered to use the results from the assessments as an additional source of data that will help them make sound business decisions with regards to people.
►The assessments used are prescriptive. This means that the psychologist will have to be trained to use the standardised assessment batteries, taking into account the business Global standards and guidelines regarding psychometric assessment practices that she/he will be trained in and will have to adhere to.
►This role is foreseen as a long term relationship so that the psychologist gets to understand our business and its needs.
Requirements:
►Knowledge and Experience Required
►Ideally a Master’s degree in Industrial or Clinical Psychology
►Licensed Psychologist
►Sound knowledge of and experience in using psychometrics in an organisational context is ideal
►A minimum of 4 years corporate-related experience
►A good business understanding
►Excellent understanding of social, political and economic issues
