►The Police in Lagos on Friday docked a 37-year-old Yinka Daudu, who claimed to be a spiritualist, for allegedly stealing N3.5 million belonging to one Monday Jatau.
►The accused was charged before a Shomolu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on a three-count charge for stealing N3.5 million from Jatau, under the pretext that he will solve his spiritual problem.
Mr Thomas Muhammed, the prosecutor, an Inspector of Police, told the court that the accused conspired with others now at large to steal the money, without offering solution to the complainant’s problem.

Mr Thomas Muhammed, the prosecutor, an Inspector of Police, told the court that the accused conspired with others now at large to steal the money, without offering solution to the complainant’s problem.
Muhammed said the accused committed the offences on Aug. 24, at 11.15 a. m. at No. 6, Adenekan St., Bariga in Lagos.
He said that the offences committed contravened Sections 409, 312 (a) (2) and 285 of the Criminal Law of Lagos, 2011.
Daudu, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Magistrate, Mrs B.O. Osunsanmi, granted the accused bail in the sum of N300,000 with two sureties in like sum.
Osunsanmi adjourned the case till Feb. 4, 2015, for mention. (NAN)
