Job Title: Medical Field Officer
Location: Yola
Main Responsibilities
► Under the supervision of the Health Delegate, assesses health needs and care availability in the areas of operation with the ICRC programming priorities
► Liaises with Health authorities (state Ministry of Health), Health facilities and Humanitarian Organization, working in the medical field in his/her area under supervision of the Health Delegate
► Assess health structures (clinics and hospitals) including Primary Health Care and surgical services and proposes activities and realistic projects in the frame of the Primary Health Care strategy
► Manage medical logistics with stock keeping, tumover and distribution to the field
► Under the supervision of the Health Delegate, actively participate In the overall running of the Primary Health Care program including the implementation, monitoring and outcomes
► Conducts close supportive supervision and teaching to ensure that Primary Health Care staff comply with national Ministry of Health diagnostic and treatment guidelines and protocols
► Conduct teaching sessions for clinical and non- clinical staff working in Primary Health Care Centers on topical health issues, including but not limited to hygiene promotion
► Under the supervision of the Health Delegate and in collaboration with the First Aid program responsible Abuja assists in the initial planning, implementation, reporting, and monitoring of the First Aid program from Yola office.
Minimum Required Knowledge and Experience
► University degree in Medical Field (Medical doctor of Registered Nurse).
► Additional public health training and experience running first aid programs will be advantageous.
► 2-4 years working experience within primary health structures in Nigeria.
► Excellent command of English, good command of Hausa language (written and spoken).
► Good reporting and communication skills.
► Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop a network of contacts.
► Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel & Power point).
► Ability to travel extensively within northern Nigeria and work independently as required.
► Candidate should have a reasonable knowledge and understanding of public infrastructures such as government offices as well as other organisations in the region.
► Driving experience and a valid driver’s license.
► Valid practice license and registration with relevant professional body.

Job Title: Field Officer (RFL)
Location: Yola
Main Responsibilities
► Actively contributes to the Implementation of ICRC activities in the domain of Re-establishment of Family Links (RFL) between family members who have been separated because of the situation in the North East of Nigeria.
► The candidate will have to travel in the North East (mainly Adamawa and Gombe States) in order to implement RFL activities, observing lCRC security rules.
► Contributes to the assessment of the needs in this domain.
► Offers help and services to people who have lost track with their family.
► Ensures effective filing, timely reporting and provides detailed and accurate statistics,
► Maintains regular contacts with various entities working in this field.
► Translates and interprets from Hausa to English, and vice versa, when required

Job Title: Storekeeper
Location: Yola
Main Responsibilities
► Supervises warehouse staff and daily workers
► Ensures stock is in order, free from pest infection, cleaned and Secured
► Organizes and controls movements of goods
► IN&OUT and maintains accurate records
► Identifies and delivers independently monthly and periodical inventories
► Manages the movement of goods in by creating necessary document
Minimum Required Knowledge & Experience
► High school certificate ('O' level) or technical vocational Training/school or professional diploma. Some college coursework completed or an Associate Degree is an asset
► 2-3 years of experience in Logistics, storekeeping, administration or similar position
► Good command of written and spoken English
► Good level in computer skills
► Skilled in the following competencies: Adapting & Learning, Teamwork, Planning, Organization & Assessment, Communication (Ability to express views and ideas)

Main Responsibilities
► Provides Cleaning/housekeeping/laundry services for the ICRC premises
► Prepares coffee and tea if assigned at the office
► Purchases food and food stock management for a household
► Knows and applies hygiene principles
Required Qualifications
► Unskilled labourer or Secondary education
► 2-3 years similar work experience
► Good physical condition
► Ability to take initiative and deal with people
► Ability to speak and write English
► Strong sense of responsibility and autonomy

Job Title: Yola Logistic Assistant
Location: Yola
Main Responsibilities
► Assists Field Administrators and Logisticians as required
► Performs various Logistics functions, Local Purchase, Fleet management, Warehousing (including medical warehouse), dispatch, and statistics
► Ensures that the other departments have their needs and requests addressed within a reasonable timeframe, in accordance to ICRC procedures
► Implements and runs logistic procedures
► Negotiates contractual matters with external interlocutors
► Supervises independently the work performed by team members
► Maintains the ICRC logistic computer systems (FSS)
► Trains logistic "clients".
Minimum Required Knowledge & Experience
► University degree in logistic or administration.
► Minimum 4 years experience in a similar field.
► Good communication and negotiation skills.

Main Responsibilities
► Drive 4/4 vehicles to and from various locations transport goods and people
► Carries out driving duties as instructed

► Ensures cleaning/washing, routine maintenance vehicles and proper fuelling
► Ensures at the beginning of each day that equipment on attributed cars is according to the requirement
► Load and offload vehicles
Required Qualifications
► Secondary education
► Excellent knowledge of Adamawa State and north east states will be an advantage
► Driving license of at least 5 years with clean records
► Minimum 3 years experience as Driver with good performances and no major accident, and driven 30,000 km during that period
► Good spoken and written English
► Capacity to drive 4/4 vehicle and use HF/VHF radios
