National Chairman summoned Jonathan, VP Sambo, David Mark AND Chief Tony Anenih to a marathon meeting.
The National Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu has summoned President Goodluck Jonathan, Vice President Namadi Sambo, Senate President David Mark and Deputy National Chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus to a marathon meeting.
The meeting is said to be part of last minute moves to perfect the wrongs, ahead of the presidential elections which is less than two weeks away.
The meeting would hold on Tuesday, March 17, at the Wadata Plaza, National Secretariat of the PDP, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, Vanguard reports.
The meeting which is under the aegis of National Campaign Council, NCC which has Mu’azu as the Chairman would also be attended by the Chairman, Board of Trustees, BoT of the PDP, Chief Tony Anenih.
Others who would be attending include; the Director- General of PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, PDPPCO and former National Chairman, Alhaji Ahmadu Ali; former Deputy National Chairman of PDP, Chief Olabode George, Chief Godswill Akpabio, Governor of Akwa Ibom State and Chairman, PDP Governors’ Forum; Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, Secretary to the Government of the Federation; and Retired Brigadier General James Arogbofa, Chief of Staff to the President.
Report had surfaced last week that there was anxiety in the PDP over Mu’azu’s resignation.
