Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, has made another shocking revelation about his new wife, Lara Fortes, who he wedded last weekend.
Speaking during their wedding thanksgiving service, Oshiomhole, revealed that he met his gorgeous wife a virgin.
The former Labour Congress chairman also revealed that, he introduced his wife to ‘worldly ways’ and urged Edo youths to emulate his decision to shun pre-marital sex and adultery, Daily Post reports.
The governor said: “I can boldly tell all of you that I was a very principled man during my first marriage. I didn’t succumb to the worldly pleasures of this lustful environment, even though I had lots of opportunities. And it was this principled sobriety that made me fish for a virgin wife.
“I can boldly say to you all that I was the first man to know her (Lara Fortes) and initiated her into the worldly ways. This is the kind of spirit I want Edo youths to inculcate, instead of messing around and engaging in different shades of adultery and fornication.”
Meanwhile, a Nairaland user, Omisore, has alleged that the governor, purchased a Private jet for the bride’s parents as a sign of appreciation for training and keeping Fortes clean till marriage.
Oshiomhole had earlier come out to debunk rumours that Lara was a model due to insinuation that, she has a flawless skin and the body shape of a global model.
The governor also noted that his new wife is not a replacement for his late wife, Clara, who died of cancer in 2010. He described Clara as irreplaceable.
