News reaching Pulse reports that ex-first lady, Turai Yar’Adua, paid ex-President Obasanjo a visit to discuss her daughter’s case before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC).
The meeting of the exes was held in Obasanjo’s residence in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
Zainab, wife of former Kebbi State Governor, Saidu Dakingari, and daughter of late President Yar’adua, was summoned by the EFCC over a N2billion fraud allegation.
According to Stella Dimokokorkus, “She(Turai Yar’Adua), specifically intimated the former President of the ongoing probe of one of her daughters, Zainab, by the EFCC. She believed it is a witch-hunt, a ploy by the Buhari government to get at her family.”
Zainab was granted an administrative bail by the EFCC.
