The Institute is a specialised instrument of foreign policy formulation in Nigeria. It serves as an intellectual base upon which decision-makers rely for informed opinion and expert advice in order to make rational choices between contending policy options.

Requirements
►Candidates must have a Master's Degree in Library Science
►Candidates must have an ICT background
Condition of Service
►Condition of Service remain the same as in the Academic and Federal Public Service

Interested and qualified candidates should submit Ten (10) typewritten copies of their applications and Curriculum Vitae, the Curriculum Vitae must include:
►Names and address of Three (3) referees (one of whom must be candidate's present head of department if any.
