Radical Islamist sect, Boko Haram has released a new video, showing how some members of the group chopped off the right hands of two men alleged to have stolen some money.
The video which was released on the social media, the terrorists were seen reading charges against the two alleged thieves before carrying out their dastardly acts.
In Sharia, stealing means “hudud” or “a crime against God” and the Quran 5:38 advises this: “(As for) the thief, the male and the female, amputate their hands in recompense for what they committed as a deterrent [punishment] from Allah. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.”
These charges were read by one of the Islamists after which the hands of the alleged thieves were chopped off.
The news about the recitation of the Quran will definitely come as a surprise to many as there had been earlier reports that the terrorists do no know how to recite quotes from the holy book.
