The Executive Committees of All Progressives Congress (APC) from local and Ondo State levels on Saturday pass vote of no confidence on their Chairman, Hon. Isaac Kekemeke and also sacked him.

The aggrieved members, who got majority 2/3 also appointed the deputy State Chairman, Ade Adetimehin as the acting Chairman.

Their displeasure against the chairman was signed by 36 members and they include, state publicity secretary Omo’ba Abayomi Adesanya, State Youth Leader, Olutayo Babatayo, State Treasurer, Ogunmoyero Lawrence, State Auditor, S.P Ogedengbe, State Woman Leaders, Omolara Atiba, Assistant Organizing Secretary, Hon. “That sequel to his purported directive from the said National Leader, at the said state executive committe’s meeting, the whole house was thrown into hubbub and pandemonium and since then, the party has been engulfed in serious of conflicts and crisis which have been eroding the good image of the party before the common people of the state.

“That despite the stern condemnation of and open rejection to this fiendish endorsement/imposition project of the said Mr. Chairman and few cronies within and without the State Executive Committee, Kekemeke obstinately continued to use his office and the apparatus of the party across the state to misinform and misdirect the illiterate delegates and or electorates towards achieving his egocentric evil project to the open irritation of the majority aspirants and their teaming supporters in favour of his anointed and most preferred but least popular aspirant.

That the said State Chiamrna and his associates in crime had maliciously and willfully doctored the party’s delegates list of the State and injected several names of those who never took part in any of the party’s congress in order to overreach the helpless and vulnerable majority aspirants in favour of his said preferred and or anointed aspirant in the forthcoming primaries in the state.

“That the said state Chairman has been involved in serious of anti-party activities ranging from but not limited to the followings:

(a) as a lawyer of several years standing at the Bar, he deliberately or negligently refused and or refrained himself from attending any of the election tribunal’s seating from the tribunal level to the appellate stage when some of the party’s candidates of the 2015 General elections were either challenging and or defending their election victories against the opposition party, PDP.

“Gross Financial Misconduct as he has never rendered the financial status of the party since inception to date and running the party’s account without decorum.

“Unlawful diversion and conversion of the party’s property to his personal and private use with arrant impunity”.

The party however set up a three-man disciplinary committee which include Prince Solagbade Amodeni, Hon. Jayeoba Oluwatuyi and Barr. Akin Ogunsakin to investigate the allegations raised against the chairman.

They are mandated to submit their report to the state executive committee within seven days of their inauguration.
