Saraki blasts Lai Mohammed, says he’ll remain in APC

Senate President, Bukola Saraki has blasted all those who claimed that he has plans of switching from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) describing them as his political adversaries.

In a statement issued by his media office on Wednesday, Saraki who refrained from mentioning names, is believed to have directed his accusation at Alhaji Lai Mohammed, APC National Publicity Secretary.

Buhari Promises To Give $100m To Fight Boko Haram

At the Extra-Ordinary Summit of the Heads of State and Government of the Lake Chad Basin Commission and Benin at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Thursday, President Buhari promised to pay up the $100 million pledged by Nigeria towards the Multi-National Joint Task Force’s (MNJTF) effort to defeat Boko Haram.

APC Cancels Meeting With Senate President, Saraki

The meeting between Senate President Bukola Saraki, John Oyegun, national chairman of the All Progressives Congress‎ (APC), and members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) was cancelled.

Bamikole Omishore, Saraki’s media assistant, issued a comment:
