Job Responsibilities:
- The efficient and effective running of the Accounts Payable department
- Manage the Accounts Payable team
- Monitoring the quality of the work done by the Accounts Payable team
- Liaise closely with suppliers about payment terms, invoicing process and account management matters
- Analyse current team’s performance and identify improvement areas
- Filter out any problems related to Accounts Payable and report performance and issues encountered
- Liaise closely with the Reporting and Costing teams to ensure that the right level of information flows from one department to another
- Ensure that the right management procedures are implemented and used on a regular basis
- Work with internal and external auditors by supplying information data and manage feedback from audit finance
- Reports to the Head of Shared Services
Job Qualification and Experience:
- CA (SA) or ACMA
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strategic thinking
- Strong communication skills
- Leadership and coaching skills
- Business analytical skills
- Strong Finance business background
- Proficient with Microsoft Word , Excel
- 3-5 years in an FMCG environment
- Familiarity with GAAP/IFRS
