BOURBON Offshore DNT recruits a Fast Crew Boat Technical Superintendent
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Organize, with the help of the FCB deputy technical superintendent, the daily maintenance (dry dock and maintenance days) according to the PMS requirements and following the maintenance schedule, he has to prepare two months in advance the PMP planning with “Visual planning”.
To be done in close cooperations with the operation department and TA method technical advisor is required.
- Assist the technical team for unplanned maintenance periods (to fix breakdowns)
- Issue the technical weekly report
- Submit the annual FCB technical budget to the FTM.
- Monitor and control the fleet budget and inform monthly his line management of discrepencies with cost control figures when available.
- Issue in real time the dry dock costs follow up file for each vessel.
- Cooperate with the stock management advisor to analyze the spare parts stock, issue the minimum levels and re order levels
- Organize the leaving period of FCB tech. department staff
- Ensure that appraisals of the technical team are done on a regular basis.
- Manage the workshop supervisor
- Ensure compliance with BINL safety and quality policy
Line reporting and functional linkage
Directly report to the Country Technical manager, functional link to Operation manager, Technical advisor and Stock coordinator.
Qualifications
Key skills
- Familiarity with Aluminium crew boat is a must.
- Industrial and or marine maintenance skills.
- Familiarity with OCIMF/OVID is a must.
Behavior
- Good management skills
- Good inter personnel skills
- High adaptation skills
Experience:A minimum of 6 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.
Languages:Fluent in English
Computer knowledge: Computer literate
Education: Marine Engineering Degree or a Mechanical Engineering degree.
Contract: Rotation contract
