Job Details:    

The Job

 - Calculate the import duties for all the cargo in each shipment and forward to the clearing supervisor to ensure that it’s been calculated correctly.

 - Make all payments required to all the relevant regulatory bodies and government agencies in accordance with the Customs and Exiles management Act.

 - Submit the document for approval at custom commands and process follow up documentation through to delivery once all import duties and premium has been paid.

 - Ensure that all documents and licenses required for the unit to operate and do its job effectively are always current and valid and to keep abreast of all. import/export information.

 - Ensure proper records are kept for all import and export documentations.

 - Engage in Custom examination of import and export cargo.

The person

 - Good verbal and written communication skills.

 - Pays Attention to detail.

 - Able to ride a motorbike.

 - Good Computer skills.

 - Interpersonal skills and customer-service orientation.

Job Qualification

 - 5 O-Level Credits

Job Experience

 - Minimum of 2 years clearing experience
