ONDO State Government will next week employ no fewer 2000 teachers into his teaching service, even as Governor Segun Mimko today flags-off of Cassava planting at the Ore Agro Business City, as part as part of efforts to engage unemployed graduates in the state.

Akinmade said shortlisted applicants would be contacted through Short Message Service (SMS) from Monday September 15th to Thursday 18th, while Aptitude Test/ interview would hold on Tuesday, September 23rd in Akure, Owena, Owo, Oka, Ikare, Ondo, Odigbo, Okitipupa and Irele centres.
The Commissioner said notification to successful applicants would be done through SMS on Wednesday, September 24, while Friday September 26 would be for interview, saying induction course for newly employed staff would hold between the 29th of September and 4th of October.
The Ondo state Governor had last Tuesday directed the immediate recruitment of 2,000 teachers into the state’s teaching service by the Teaching Service Commission.
The exercise will accommodate 1, 300 University graduates with Teaching education qualification, 200 National Certificate of Education, NCE, graduates holders and 500 Non-teaching staff with Primary 6 and Secondary School Certificate.
Applicant must be of Ondo state origin and quality control system will be adopted in the employment process.
