Reports just reaching us reveal that gunmen on sunday night, February 15, killed the ward chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Kurra Falls of Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, Rev. Samuel Doro.
Doro was said to have been killed late on Sunday night by some gunmen, who invaded his compound.
Confirming the reports was The Police Public Relations Officer in Plateau, Emmanuel Abuh, who said the police had swung into action to ascertain the circumstances behind the killing.
He maintained that investigations are still ongoing.
Details of why he was killed are however still sketchy.
It would be recalled that still in Plateau state, suspected kidnappers last week kidnapped the father of a former governor of Plateau State, Joshua Dariye who currently represents Plateau Central in the Senate and is seeking re-election
