Reactions have continued to trickle in following reports of an armed robbery attack in Ogolonto Ikorodu, Lagos state in the early hours of today, June 24.
The robbery which took place at the Zenith bank and First bank in Ebute Ipakodo, saw the robbers cart away with huge sum of money (amount unconfirmed).
However, some Nigerians have taken to social media to express their disappointment with the Police who got to the scene moments after the operation was on-going but could not stop the robbers from escaping.
Chat212 investigations show that a police station was opposite the bank where the robbery was taking place but the policemen were slow to respond to their duty.
This has triggered extreme disgust among some Nigerians who couldn’t hide their displeasure on social media.
Meanwhile, a tricycle popularly know in Lagos as Keke Napep got burnt this morning in Ikorodu today.
