Recall that Mark was taken to the tribunal by his only contender, Dan Onjeh of the All Progressives Congress contested the Benue South senatorial seat. Onjeh had claimed that the polls were marred by several indiscretions and substantial breaches of the Electoral Act 2011 as amended.
He also avowed that INEC personnel were cooperated and voters were financially induced by the PDP agents at the different polling units in the district.
The petitioner, therefore, advised the court to annul the poll and order for fresh election.
