Terror in DC as four die and 12 are injured after two gunmen go on rampage at Washington Navy Yard before police shoot them dead

Police have reported that two gunmen, including one wearing camouflage, have shot dead four people - two of them police officers - and injured several others at the Washington Naval Yard. Police said the gunmen have now been killed after a three-hour manhunt around D.C..
One gunman was pinned down between the third and fourth floors in a room on the grounds of the naval yard, although this has not been confirmed. Hundreds of SWAT and FBI rapid response units have descended on the nation's capital to deal with the situation. In addition the spokesman added that all of the people wounded are in critical condition and have been rushed to nearby hospitals.

Initial reports are that two gunmen opened fire this morning at the Washington Naval Yards in Washington D.C.

Terror visited Washington D.C. this morning as two gunmen opened fire at the Washington Naval Yard and killed four people and injured 12.
Both men were dressed in military fatigues and armed with AR-15 assault rifles and apprehended after a frantic three hour manhunt at the military base.
The attacks came three days after al-Qaeda used the 12th anniversary of 9/11 to call for strikes on America.
