Job Details
Develops finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
Monitoring financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances managing the Finance Team and oversee the preparation of all financial information for the company, weekly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
Develops organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; accumulating capital to fund expansion.
Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; Manage the capital request and budgeting processes.
Maximizes return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities; maintaining relationships with the investment community.
Managing external relationships issues and dealing like banks, tax and regulatory authorities, clients and suppliers.
Requirements
The CFO will be a seasoned and mature leader with at least 5 years of broad finance experience.
A qualified Chartered Accountant added advantage
A minimum of a first degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA is a plus.
Demonstrated excellence in managing finance, accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting
Skill in examining, developing, reengineering, and recommending financial and technology policies and procedures.
Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model
A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality. Seen as a team player who is committed to lifelong learning
A hands-on manager with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
An effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills.
Strong commitment to developing team members.

Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment, with an ability to understand the effect of decisions overall in the company.
Experience and Qualifications
HND/BSC in relevant discipline.
3-5 work experience in related field.
