It should be noted that Senate president briefly after the electoral commission announced the winner, congratulates Buhari, saying that his victory was a “reflection” of the wishes of the majority of Nigerians, who elected him as the next President of the country.
Mark described the victory as a reward for Buhari’s resilience as a politician.
There were reports that David Mark planned to join APC, but Senate president has said he will remain a loyal member of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) no matter what.
