At Last the controversies over zoning of position of Senate President continue as the All Progressives Party (APC) denied already published report...
The report contained information that party’s National Working Committee (NWC) met on May 25, Monday and settled to zone the position to the North-Central and the Speaker of the House of Representatives to the South-West.
APC’s national secretary Hon. Mai Mala Buni, released a comment, saying that party was deeply embarrassed by the story, which was actually planted in the media to sow the seeds of instability in the party.
”The NWC never discussed the issue of zoning at its meeting.
Therefore, the report of its decision on zoning is a figment of the imagination of whoever concocted the story,” it said.
