Woman Faints While Registering At INEC Center In Kogi
Ahead of the gubernatorial elections coming up in Kogi and Bayelsa states, the people of the states have started registering.
The elections have been scheduled for Saturday, November 21 and Saturday, December, 5, 2015, by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). This has gotten the people of both state to go all out for the registration.
However, a mild drama ensued today after a woman who was trying to register at the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) center in Ofu local government area of Kogi fainted. She was immediately rushed to a safe place and attended to by meaningful Nigerians as seen in the photo below. The registrants however blame the incident on the poor crowd control at the CVR centre.
ust recently, former governor of Kogi state, Abubakar Audu emerged as the All Progressives Congress candidate for the state’s gubernatorial election yesterday, August 30. However, so many Nigerians seem not to be happy about Audu’s emergence, with many berating the APC for even allowing him to contest the party’s primaries.
