About 500 Nigerian deportees will arrive in Nigeria from the United Kingdom this morning aboard a chartered flight.
The chartered flight, according to Leadership, was expected to take off from London Stansted airport via a private charter company, Titan Airways.
It was confirmed that the flight was scheduled to depart from the United Kingdom on Tuesday, November 24, at about 10.30pm Nigerian time to land in Lagos on Wednesday, November 25 at about 6.00am.
This move is a monthly exercise by the UK government, in which about 100 detainees from the UK are deported to their respective countries via charter flights commonly run by Titan Airways.
The aircraft is said to leave London Stansted airport in the dead of night on the last Tuesday of every month as contracted by the UK home office.
