Boko Haram Launches Deadly Attack At Military Checkpoint In Borno
A sad and unfortunate incident hits residents of Sabon Gari area of Damboa Local Government Area in Borno State, on Tuesday, as another female suicide bomber unleashed mayhem on the residents as she detonated an Improvised Explosive Device, killing herself and 4 other people at a military checkpoint.
It was gathered that the female suicide bomber came to Sabon Gari area of Damboa in a vehicle. Reports have it that she alighted from the vehicle at a military checkpoint where she detonated her bomb. The tragic incident claims the lives of the female suicide bomber as well as four other people. Two of those dead were civilian Joint Task Force who have been part of the team that have been protecting lives and properties of helpless Nigerians in the war torn area of the North-East of Nigeria.
It was also reported that many other people sustained varying degrees of injuries. Both those injured and those dead have been taking to the nearest hospital. This unfortunate incident happened on Tuesday at Sabon Gari area of Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State. Sabon Gari is in the southern part of Borno State. It was also reported that another female suicide bomber hits Kaduna today and the number of death is still rising there.
