The former Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for alleged money laundering.
The former Governor was arrested together with his two sons yesterday in Abuja by the EFCC. They were later flown to Kano state by the anti-crime agency.
It would be recalled that, the Governor’s two sons were arrested sometime last year, for allegedly misappropriated sum of money worth billions of naira belonging to the Jigawa State Government.
However, the arrest of Lamido and his two sons has been confirmed
